We offer free shipping on all orders to the Contiguous United States.
Taxes
By law Suburban Casa is required to charge sales tax on orders shipped to New Jersey. Applicable shipping and sales tax charges will be added to your total and displayed for your review prior to completing checkout.
Domestic and International Shipping
Your order can be shipped to any address (excluding APO, FPO, DPO, and PO Boxes) in the contiguous United States. For orders to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, or any other international orders, please reach out to us before placing your order. International shipping rates will vary depending on location and brand.
For any international orders, you may be subjected to additional fees, including customs, duties, and taxes. As the customer you will be responsible for finding out this information beforehand, and paying these fees. We have no control over these fees, and due to the variance between countries, we cannot offer advice or information about any fees or what is legal in each country. Please do not order any items that are illegal to import into your country. It is your responsibility to check with Customs to assure that your country permits the shipment of our items.
After placing an order, we are unable to alter shipping addresses due to tax variances between states.
Order Shipment
Please allow up to 3 business days to confirm and process your order before it is sent out for shipment. After your order has left the warehouse, average delivery time is typically around 7 business days. Orders are typically shipped through a third party freight carrier, such as UPS or Fedex.
Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email with an order update and shipping details including tracking information, and the freight service will reach out to you to coordinate the time and date of the delivery. If any accommodations need to be made, please note that at checkout and again when arranging the delivery appointment. Orders will typically be dropped off either curbside or outside your front door. It is your responsibility to bring the furniture inside the building. Delivery does not include the removal or replacement of any existing furniture.
Instructions Upon Delivery
In the case that the wrong order is delivered, contact us immediately and we will arrange for the order to be returned and replaced with the correct one. If the product has been incorrectly delivered or is not where the carrier claims to have left it, please check the tracking number to see any updates to the location of the furniture. We will not ship replacement items until we verify the furniture has been incorrectly delivered.
We claim no responsibility for any products lost or stolen after delivery to the correct location, and will not reimburse or refund you for any costs or fees. We recommend you are present while the package is being delivered so you can inspect, sign, then transport the furniture into your house immediately.
When the item is delivered please inspect the package immediately before signing for it. If your order is damaged in transit and external damage is visible, note the damage immediately, take pictures and/or videos, write it down on the delivery documents, and refuse the delivery. If there is no external damage, accept the item, but sign "subject to concealed damage." Without this provision, we cannot promise to provide a replacement or refund should you discover damage when the package is opened. We also require that you take pictures of the damage (both internal and external) and send your claim to customer service within the first 24 hours of receiving your item. Do not disregard the damaged product or any parts of the packaging as we will need all parts of your order returned in order to inspect and assess the damage. Failure to fully inspect the product and contents of the package and alert us of the damage within 24 hours may affect damage claim eligibility. Risk of loss with respect to the products is transferred from Suburban Casa to you when your order is delivered. We are not responsible for any damage after delivery.
